Candidate for City Council · Ward 2
Dana Reyes
for Fairview City Council, Ward 2
A small-business owner and lifelong Fairview resident running to keep our neighborhoods safe, our budgets honest, and our roads in good repair.
About Dana
Dana Reyes has called Fairview home for more than twenty years. After raising two kids in Ward 2 and running a family hardware store on Main Street through good times and hard ones, Dana knows what it takes to balance a budget, meet a payroll, and show up for neighbors when it counts.
Dana is running for City Council because Fairview deserves leaders who listen first and deliver on the basics: safe streets, roads that get fixed, and a city budget that respects the people who pay for it. No grand promises, just steady work on the things that affect daily life in our ward.
Where Dana Stands
Fix the Roads We Actually Drive
A funded, published repaving schedule for Ward 2 so residents can see when their street gets fixed, and pothole repairs completed within ten days of a report.
Safe, Responsive Neighborhoods
Faster emergency response times and a return to community policing that puts officers on the same streets long enough to know the people they serve.
Honest Budgets, No Surprise Hikes
A plain-language city budget posted online, and a commitment to look for savings before ever asking Ward 2 families to pay more in property taxes.
Parks and Programs for Our Kids
Reopen the Linden Street rec center on a full schedule and protect funding for the youth summer programs families count on.
